In this Role, you will get to: - Take ownership of the full product life cycle, from business requirements to coding standards, testing, and monitoring - Design, develop, and maintain platforms and data pipelines in the fintech domain - Enhance the scalability, stability, and efficiency of existing systems - Mentor team members and collaborate with other departments - Participate in the recruitment of exceptional talent What You'll Need To Succeed: - Minimum 7 years of experience developing performance-critical applications using Scala, Java, C#, or Kotlin - Proficiency in data tooling such as Spark, Kafka, and Workflow Orchestration Tools - Strong SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases - Expertise in building and optimizing big data pipelines and data sets - Experience in root cause analysis to improve business processes - Familiarity with Scrum and Agile methodologies - Excellent communication skills in English It's great if you have: - Deep experience with spark-based distributed data pipelines and Spark streaming - Strong background in building finance stack applications - Knowledge of financial data risk management and data governance - Experience in leading projects and teams with full ownership of systems - Ability to build data pipelines for integrating third-party systems Equal Opportunity Employer: Agoda is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity and inclusion.
