Senior Web and UI Designer

Job Description: As a Web/UI Designer at our company, you will be responsible for leading the production, modification, and maintenance of websites and web application user interfaces. You will work as a senior member of an established web design team and collaborate closely within a project team to turn creative designs into functional websites and mobile apps. Your role will involve working alongside developers to implement server-side code for the development of complex, interactive, content-managed, and database-driven websites. Additionally, project managers will support you in ensuring the smooth delivery of all projects. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the production, modification, and maintenance of websites and web application user interfaces - Work closely with the project team to transform creative designs into functional websites and mobile apps - Collaborate with developers to implement server-side code for complex websites - Ensure all projects are delivered smoothly with the support of project managers Qualifications Required: - Senior level web designer with strong technical lead experience - Proficient in HTML, CSS, JQUERY, Bootstrap, or equivalent framework - Experience in performing technical aspects of a front-end build - High level of SEO experience, including onsite optimization and knowledge of effective SEO strategies - Proven experience in building responsive websites - Knowledge of extended CSS coding languages such as LESS/CSS or SASS - Creative design skills with a strong portfolio - Experience working in a source-controlled environment - Ability to work under tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure - Highly numerate and literate with the ability to produce high-quality written specifications You will have the opportunity to work with a team of creative designers and front-end developers. Additionally, experience with Adobe software like Photoshop or Illustrator will be beneficial. A degree in Fine Arts or Graphic Design, or an equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience is advantageous.
