Senior UI Developer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Engineer to join our Amorphic engineering team and contribute to building exceptional user interfaces. You will play a key role in enhancing our product and significantly impacting customer user experience while mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership

  : Architect, design, and implement scalable web applications.

• Collaboration

  : Work closely with UX team, backend engineers, and stakeholders to define user interfaces, software architectures, and establish efficient workflows & APIs

• Operational Excellence

  : Build user-friendly interfaces that simplify complex cloud technologies and enhance overall platform usability

• Project Planning

  : Provide technical inputs during design phases, plan development timelines, and track project progress to ensure successful delivery

• Development

  : Drive active software development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React to bring designs to life

• Product Ownership

  : Take ownership of frontend product features from conception to delivery, driving product decisions and ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs

• Innovation

  : Design and develop prototype solutions to support evolving business requirements

• Mentorship

  : Guide junior developers, conduct thorough code reviews, and manage code repositories

• Quality Assurance

  : Ensure technical feasibility of visual designs and UX components, proactively identify and resolve bugs, and conduct thorough issue detection across applications

Required Qualifications

• Education

  : Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

• Experience

  : 5+ years of frontend development experience with demonstrated success in shipping complex web applications, driving product decisions, and prioritizing user-centered design principles

• Technical Skills

  :
• Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript fundamentals and React ecosystem with solid understanding of design principles and patterns
• Strong experience with state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, Context API)
• Experience with RESTful API development and integration
• Proficiency with design tools (Figma) and ability to translate designs into functional code
• Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and modern CSS frameworks
• Experience with build tools and bundlers (Webpack, Vite, etc.)
• Proficiency with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
