Job Description

As a Senior Principal Engineer - Systems, your role will involve designing, developing, testing, and documenting embedded systems and software components. You will be responsible for leading CAPA, field investigations, and platform growth planning. Additionally, mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with cross-functional global teams will be a key part of your responsibilities. Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards such as FDA Class I-III, ISO, and IEC will also be crucial. Your role will involve driving innovation in system architecture, design, and implementation. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, test, and document embedded systems and software components - Lead CAPA, field investigations, and platform growth planning - Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional global teams - Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (FDA Class I-III, ISO, IEC) - Drive innovation in system architecture, design, and implementation Qualifications Required: - Strong Embedded C/C++ and RTOS experience - Firmware and device driver development - Hardware/software interfacing and system design - Agile software development, code reviews, metrics tracking - Experience in medical devices or regulated industries It would be nice to have experience in Qt, SQLite, Linux Yocto, cloud-native architectures (AWS/Azure), UML, and OOA&D.
