Senior Software Tester

As a detail-oriented and highly experienced Senior Software Tester, your role will involve the following responsibilities in manual testing: - **Requirement Analysis**: You will review user stories, business requirements, and design documents to ensure comprehensive test coverage. - **Test Planning & Strategy**: Your responsibilities will include creating detailed test plans, defining testing scope, identifying test data needs, and setting entry/exit criteria. - **Test Case Design & Execution**: You will be required to write clear and reusable manual test cases and execute them across web, mobile, or desktop applications. - **Defect Management**: Your role will involve logging defects with precise reproduction steps, severity/priority, and collaborating with developers for fixes. - **Regression & Exploratory Testing**: Ensuring that new changes do not break existing features and performing ad-hoc testing to uncover hidden issues. - **API Testing Manual**: You should have familiarity with tools like Postman and Fiddler for API validation. - **Mentorship & Review**: Guiding junior testers, reviewing their test cases, and ensuring quality standards in QA deliverables. In addition to these responsibilities, it would be good to have the following automation skills: - **Basic Scripting Knowledge**: Ability to write and maintain automation scripts in languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript. - **Test Automation Tools**: Exposure to automation tools such as Selenium and Playwright. Key qualifications and competencies required for this role include: - 5-6 years of working experience as a software tester. - Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Expertise in functional, regression, smoke, load testing, performance testing, and UAT testing. - Familiarity with bug tracking tools like Redmine and Azure DevOps. - Good communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams. - An analytical mindset to think like an end-user. - A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT.,
