Senior Software Test Engineer

You are JiBe's next Software Test Engineer (Manual) in Navi Mumbai, responsible for ensuring the high quality of our cloud-based fully integrated ERP system for the shipping industry. Your role involves contributing to testing efforts, understanding test plans, running test stages, adhering to reporting requirements, and implementing test automation using Selenium webdriver. You will directly impact our team by resolving challenges and limitations in automation. **Key Responsibilities:** - Responsible for all testing efforts and participate in technical reviews. - Ensure that solutions meet quality objectives and delivery timescales. - Understand application testing requirements, implement agile methodology, and create test-related documentation. - Implement test automation using Selenium webdriver and resolve challenges in automation. **Qualifications:** - BE/B.Tech/MCA/MS or equivalent with 3 to 8 years of relevant testing/quality assurance experience. - Experience in Windows/Cloud/Mobile is a plus. - Strong experience in automation tools like QTP and Selenium webdriver. - At least 3 years of industry experience in manual/automation testing using Java around angular Js applications, API calls, and TDD. - Design and implement reusable automated test framework using Javascript. - Proactive self-starter with good analytical skills and knowledge of testing trends and developments. - Nice to have experience in Agile teams, source code management Git, defining testing strategies, and technology consulting. - Logical thinking, excellent listening and questioning skills, ability to work well in teams, problem-solving skills, and strong customer focus are essential.
