Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated technical background candidates to transition into Data World as Data Engineers. This role is designed for non-Data Engineering professionals with strong programming skills and a passion for learning Data platforms. You will leverage your existing expertise to develop high-quality software solutions, participate in solution design, and upskill into Data Engineering tools and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop high-quality software solutions using your primary technology (Java/.NET/Python/SAP/Cloud/etc.)

- If you have hands-on programming experience and the passion to move into Data Engineering, we would be happy to consider you

- Participate in solution design and architecture discussions

- Convert business requirements into technical specifications and design documents

- Write efficient, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices

- Upskill into Data Engineering tools and technologies:

- Apache Spark, Databricks, Snowflake

- Airflow, Kafka, Event Streaming

- Cloud Data Services (AWS, Azure, GCP)

- Build, enhance, and optimize data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows

- Collaborate with data architects, cloud teams, and business stakeholders

- Conduct peer reviews and guide junior team members

- Troubleshoot complex system issues and propose sustainable solutions

Required Skills & Experience:

- 5-9 years of experience in hands-on programming or enterprise development using:

- Java, .NET, Python

- Full Stack (React/Angular + Backend)

- Cloud Engineering (AWS/Azure/GCP)

- SAP, Salesforce, Oracle, PeopleSoft

- Integration Platforms (Mulesoft, Tibco, APIs, ESB)

- Strong fundamentals in coding, debugging, and problem-solving

- Understanding of architecture, design patterns, microservices, or enterprise system design

- A strong desire to learn and transition into Data Engineering

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
