Senior Software Engineer

Job responsibilities:

• Developing high-performance applications by writing testable, reusable, and efficient code. 
  
• Ensuring optimal performance of the central database and responsiveness to front-end requests.
  
• Lead the design and development of complex, large-scale applications using Node.js.
  
• Collaborating with front-end developers on the integration of elements. 
  
• Designing customer-facing UI and back-end services for various businesses processes. 
• Recommending and implementing improvements to processes and technologies.
  
• Keeping informed of advancements in the field of Node.js development.
  
• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
  
• Ensure code quality, performance, and security through code reviews, testing, and continuous integration.
  
• Participate in on-call rotation to support production systems.
  
• Experience with event-driven architecture and message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
  
• Professional experience with

  Java

  and the Spring framework is an add-on.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a backend or full-stack developer with a focus on Node.js. 
  
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and Node.js, with experience in building RESTful APIs. Familiarity with frameworks such as Express.js  Fastify. 
  
• Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL), such as , MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Elastic. 
  
• Understanding of server-side templating languages, front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), and frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js). Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git. 
  
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Proven track record of designing and delivering high-quality, scalable, and resilient backend systems.
  
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
