Job Description

Role Description
As a Senior DataCom/Networking : L2-L3 Protocols Specialist at Incedo, you will be responsible for designing, testing, and maintaining network protocols at the data link layer and network layer. You will also work with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues related to network protocols.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Design and develop networking solutions using Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols, including Ethernet, VLAN, and OSPF.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and design solutions that meet business needs.Configure and deploy networking solutions, and troubleshoot technical issues as needed.Develop and maintain documentation, including user guides and training materials.

Technical Skills

Skills Requirements:

Expertise in Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols such as Ethernet, VLAN, STP, OSPF, and BGP.
Experience in network architecture design and implementation.
Proficiency in network troubleshooting and problem-solving.
Familiarity with network testing tools and techniques.
Must have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Must understand the company's long-term vision and align with it.
Provide leadership, guidance, and support to team members, ensuring the successful completion of tasks, and promoting a positive work environment that fosters collaboration and productivity, taking responsibility of the whole team.

Nice-to-have skills

Qualifications

4-6 years of work experience in relevant field
B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech or MCA degree from a reputed university. Computer science background is preferred
