Senior Software Engineer I DevOps

As a Senior Software Engineer I - Devops AWS at UnitedHealth Group, you will have the opportunity to directly impact health outcomes by leveraging technology to connect people with the care, pharmacy benefits, data, and resources they need to live healthier lives. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Designing, implementing, and maintaining Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure rapid and reliable software delivery - Utilizing tools like Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CloudFormation for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to manage infrastructure programmatically - Setting up and managing monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) to ensure system health and performance - Deploying and managing applications in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and using containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes - Integrating security practices into the DevOps lifecycle (DevSecOps) and ensuring compliance with industry standards - Collaborating with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline workflows and providing support for development environments - Analyzing system performance and implementing improvements to reduce latency and increase throughput Qualifications Required: - B.Tech/MCA with 16+ years of formal education - 6+ years of work experience in Product companies - Solid hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, etc.) - Experience in deploying scalable solutions to complex problems and knowledge of Statistics, Machine Learning Models, Model Deployment, Generative AI - Knowledge of networking concepts, DNS, load balancing, and firewalls - Exposure to agile development process and proven proactive approach to spotting problems and performance bottlenecks - Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills In addition, you may also possess the following preferred qualifications: - AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect) - Azure basic knowledge - Familiarity with serverless architecture and tools (e.g., AWS Lambda, API Gateway) - Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies Join UnitedHealth Group and start making a difference in the communities we serve by advancing health optimization on a global scale.,
