Responsibilities
- Architect and build low latency and high throughput system.
- Collaborate, socialize, and drive cross-team technical initiatives.
- Participate in design and code reviews.
- Mentor junior engineers in the team.
- Ensure high code quality, live site reliability, and scalability in our services.
- Drive new investments and vision for the product that you will own.
- Contribute to team culture that embraces diversity and inclusion and makes the team an awesome place to work
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, JavaScript, C#, C, C++, , Java or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
- Solid problem-solving skills and comfortable in dealing with ambiguity.
- Ability to handle competing priorities and perform at an elevated level in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
Other Requirements
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, JavaScript, C, C++, C#, Java, or Python
- OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, JavaScript, C, C++, C#, Java, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
- 6+ Experience with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, Webpack, Node.js and similar.
- 6+ Experience building libraries, SDKs, and other development platform components, preferably using JavaScript/TypeScript.
- 8+ years of industry experience designing, building, testing & shipping software.
