Senior Software Engineer- BGP

As a Senior Software Engineer at Arrcus, your role involves writing Feature Specs covering requirements and detailed design, implementing improvements and features either individually or as part of a team, triaging and resolving internal and customer-found issues, evaluating and integrating third-party libraries, peer reviewing Feature Specs, Code, Test Plans, and other engineering documents, improving performance and scale of existing features and solutions, and assisting with the interview, onboarding, and mentoring of new hires. Qualifications required for this role include a BS/MS/Ph.D. in Computer Engineering/Computer Science or an equivalent degree, the ability to write high-quality C/C++ code, and a minimum of 5 years of hands-on development experience in areas such as: - Expertise in design and development of BGP protocol areas (BGP-LS, MP-BGP, BGP-LU with SR, BGP-EVPN, etc.) - Experience in design and development of Control Plane Infra - RIB, FIB, BFD - Experience in design and development of Overlay Technologies - L3VPN, EVPN, VxLAN - Segment Routing based fabric SR-MPLS, SRv6 - Troubleshooting large-scale deployments - Model-based manageability frameworks using YANG, XML, JSON Arrcus offers generous compensation packages including equity, medical insurance, parental leave, and sabbatical leave after 4 years of service.
