Senior Software Engineer, 11 User Experiences

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Customer Decision Hub (CDH) product team at Pega, you will be a key player in designing, implementing, and validating new features using Pega Infinity. Your role will involve collaborating with a passionate and talented team to deliver high-quality features efficiently. You will contribute to the end-to-end design, development, and testing of technical and functional requirements for CDH features. Taking ownership of development activities and adhering to best practices will be crucial in ensuring commitments are delivered without schedule variance. You will go beyond documented requirements to understand and address customer needs and identify enhancements to Pega Infinity while developing use cases to support prioritization. Participation in Agile/Scrum processes, offering continuous feedback, and driving process improvements will also be part of your responsibilities. Your innovative mindset will be valuable in proposing and implementing solutions to development challenges. **Key Responsibilities:** - Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality features efficiently - Contribute to end-to-end design, development, and testing of CDH features - Take ownership of development activities and adhere to best practices - Understand and address customer needs beyond documented requirements - Identify enhancements to Pega Infinity and develop use cases for prioritization - Participate actively in Agile/Scrum processes and drive process improvements - Propose and implement solutions to development challenges **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field - 4-6 years of hands-on experience in analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment of Pega applications - Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) with expertise in various Pega Infinity Rules - Experience in automation tools like Selenium, Cucumber, or Playwright - Proven track record of working in Agile/Scrum environments and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration and stakeholder engagement At Pega, you will have the opportunity to work in a rapidly growing yet well-established business, expected to work 3 days a week from Pegasystems Bengaluru Office.
