We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to lead the development of robust and high-performance software solutions. This role combines technical expertise with team leadership, allowing you to guide and mentor developers while driving software projects from conception to deployment. You will work in a collaborative, remote-friendly environment, contributing to complex database systems and ensuring high code quality, reliability, and performance. Accountabilities
- Develop and implement high-quality software solutions according to technical requirements and design specifications
- Lead and mentor a development team, providing guidance, technical oversight, and performance feedback
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project goals and ensure alignment with requirements
- Participate in code reviews to maintain consistent coding standards and high-quality deliverables
- Troubleshoot and debug complex software issues, providing timely resolutions
- Stay updated on programming languages, frameworks, tools, and industry best practices
- Drive technical excellence and innovation within the team and projects
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in software development
- Strong proficiency in C++ and experience with multi-threaded server environments
- Solid understanding and development experience with MariaDB or other relational database systems (RDBMS)
- Experience working in Unix/Linux environments
- Deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, and runtime complexities
- Knowledge of SQL and database design principles
- Experience leading software development teams and mentoring developers
- Understanding of DevOps practices and agile development methodologies
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
