Senior Software Developer

Job Objective:

.Net developer to build software using languages and technologies of the .NET framework. Create applications from scratch, configure existing systems and provide user support. In this role, Engineer should be able to write functional code, perform unit testing to minimise defects and improve code quality

Primary responsibilities

• Participate in requirements analysis to understand use cases.
• Collaborate with internal teams to implement code and develop applications.
• Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages and follow coding standards.
• Unit Test and deploy applications.
• Improve existing software applications through re-factoring.
• Understand logs, events and error details from AMI products and servers.
• Develop documentation for implemented code - HLD, DLD, User manual.

"Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a

standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary

responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent and Management."

Key Skills

• Familiarity with the web app and mobile app frameworks, SQL Server, and design patterns
• (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC))
• Working knowledge of .NET (C#, ASP.net), Angular JS, and HTML5/CSS3, WCF
• Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)
• Understanding of Agile/CMMi processes
• Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills with know-how on sniffer tools, Visual studio
• debuggers.
• Release and build management practices, source control, bug/test case tracking

Soft skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively
• communicate with internal and external stakeholders
• Passion for learning and exploring new areas in technologies
