Senior Site Reliability Developer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for solving complex problems related to infrastructure cloud services and building automation to prevent problem recurrence. Your role will involve designing, writing, and deploying software to enhance the availability, scalability, and efficiency of Oracle products and services. Additionally, you will be tasked with designing and developing architectures, standards, and methods for large-scale distributed systems and facilitating service capacity planning, demand forecasting, software performance analysis, and system tuning. Key Responsibilities: - Work as part of the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) team to build and shape the future of cloud services for Enterprises - Develop and operate various services behind the scenes (Provisioning, Monitor, Repair, Control Plane, Data Plane, Re-imaging) to support customers - Solve difficult problems in distributed systems, virtualized infrastructure, and highly available services - Utilize expertise in Linux, Python/Java, and system engineering to improve infrastructure and services - Collaborate in a team environment to deliver and operate large-scale, highly available distributed systems - Engage in infrastructure troubleshooting and automation building using Python/Java - Partner with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team to ensure end-to-end configuration, technical dependencies, and performance of production services - Take ownership of mission critical stack design and delivery with a focus on security, resiliency, scale, and performance - Act as an escalation point for complex issues and provide guidance on service architecture improvements - Demonstrate a deep understanding of automation, orchestration principles, and service topology dependencies - Contribute to the development of premier capabilities in the Oracle Cloud service portfolio Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering or related fields - 6+ years of experience in delivering and operating large-scale distributed systems - 5+ years of experience in Linux System Engineering - 4+ years of experience in Python/Java for building infrastructure automations - Strong infrastructure troubleshooting skills - Experience in CICD, Cloud Computing, and networking *Note: No additional details about the company were included in the job description.*,
