Senior Security Engineer

Role Overview: You will work alongside the engineering teams, providing expert leadership and advice on secure architecture, design, and implementation. You will level up your skills securing modern languages and technologies running in a true multi-cloud environment like AWS, GCP, and Azure. You will drive Vulnerability Management program, SaaS security, Cloud Security, and Network Security initiatives. Additionally, you will consult on AI-Security best practices and collaborate on identifying & mitigating AI-specific risks. Leading with code, automation, and data in everything you do, you will create security impact across partner teams, with strong support from the business. Key Responsibilities: - Work alongside engineering teams, providing expert leadership and advice on secure architecture, design, and implementation - Level up skills securing modern languages and technologies in a multi-cloud environment like AWS, GCP, and Azure - Drive Vulnerability Management program, SaaS security, Cloud Security, and Network Security initiatives - Consult on AI-Security best practices and collaborate on identifying & mitigating AI-specific risks - Lead with code, automation, and data in all tasks - Create security impact across partner teams with strong business support Qualifications Required: - Prior experience in building an Infrastructure security program - More than 5 years of experience with threat modeling and secure architecture - Real-world experience in security concepts like Identity, Data protection, Monitoring, and Incident Response in the cloud services space - Experience in working with off-the-shelf SaaS products and services - Exposure to AI Security strategies and Governance frameworks - Proven ability to manage yourself and produce results - Ability to learn and find bugs in languages such as Java, JavaScript, Go, and Python - Hands-on development experience in one or more of Java, JavaScript, Go, or Python languages - Expert knowledge of security testing tools and techniques - Knowledge of Industry trends in the Cyber Security world - Strong communicator comfortable working cross-functionally, with a track record of delivering results and demonstrating strong ownership Additional Details: Snowflake is focused on doing security better and does not tolerate the status quo.
