Description
As a Backend Engineer at Setu, you will play a crucial role in working across the development stack, including various backend systems, and quickly prototyping proof-of-concept features and projects. Your responsibilities will include: - Implementation: - Structuring and writing code in a readable manner, adhering to common principles and patterns to enhance team productivity. - Contributing to projects based on timelines, from proof of concepts to stable production code, with a wide breadth of knowledge. - Possessing outstanding coding skills and a track record of writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code. - Conducting meticulous code reviews to ensure quality and consistency across the team. - Building products and services with empathy for other developers and customers. - Understanding infrastructure and being open to learning and adapting to new tools and technologies. - Orchestration and Integration: - Collaborating with the engineering team to integrate your work into the ecosystem, assist in building on top of your base, and orchestrate work into CI/CD, testing, QA, and automation pipelines. - Working with DevOps to optimize cloud infrastructure and resource management. - Ownership: - Taking end-to-end ownership of services and specialized components required for various projects, from prototyping to production-hardened solutions. - Solving problems using deep learning and handling tasks like document parsing. - Documentation: - Creating well-crafted technical content, including articles, samples, whitepapers, and training materials.
