Senior React Native Engineer (Financial Services)

Profile Summary

React Native developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of scalable, maintainable mobile applications using React Native.
• Architect cross-platform solutions with a strong understanding of when to leverage native modules. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for mobile builds, testing, and deployment.
• Ensure robust security practices including secure storage, authentication, code obfuscation, and secure API integration.
• Collaborate with backend teams to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data flow.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and enforce coding standards.
• Monitor app performance and integrate analytics and crash reporting tools (e.g., Dynatrace, Crashlytics)Security Expertise
• Deep understanding of mobile security best practices.
• Experience with secure storage mechanisms, HTTPS, token-based authentication, and code obfuscation.
• Familiarity with platform-specific security features and update cycles.
• Awareness of risks associated with third-party libraries and JavaScript bridges in React Native.
• Native Wrapping & Platform Integration
• Proficient in writing and integrating custom native modules for iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and Android (Kotlin/Java).
• Experience with tools like CocoaPods, Gradle, and Xcode CLI.
• Ability to assess when to go native for performance or security reasons.

Preferred Industry Experience

• Prior experience in

  banking or financial services

  is highly desirable. Familiarity with regulatory compliance, secure onboarding flows, and demo mode implementations for app store reviews.
