Description
As a Senior QA Engineer at Aveosoft Pvt Ltd, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our software products through manual and/or automation testing processes. Your responsibilities include: - Analyzing requirements, specifications, and technical design documents for clarity and completeness. - Designing, developing, and maintaining comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts (Manual and/or Automation). - Estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating testing activities independently. - Executing functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing. - Identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs to ensure high product quality. - Leading defect triage meetings and ensuring timely resolution of issues. - Developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts (if applicable). - Collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand business needs and technical requirements. - Ensuring best practices for QA processes, tools, and methodologies are followed and continuously improved. - Mentoring and guiding junior QA engineers, providing technical assistance and code reviews (if automation is involved). - Tracking and reporting key quality metrics such as defect density, test coverage, and open defect counts. - Staying updated with the latest QA trends, tools, and technologies to enhance testing efficiency. Qualifications required for this role include: - Minimum of 4+ years of proven experience in software quality assurance. - Strong expertise in software QA methodologies, testing processes, and best practices. - Hands-on experience in Manual Testing, including functional, regression, and exploratory testing. - Experience in Automation Testing (preferred but not mandatory), using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar. - Strong knowledge of defect management tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar. - Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases. - Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills. - Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. - Experience with API testing and database testing is a plus. - Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools like Jenkins, Git, etc., is an added advantage.
