Job Description

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and specifications
Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive end-to-end automated testing frameworks for our AI-ML platform
Create and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and scripts to validate software correctness, performance, and scalability
Develop and maintain data-driven automated tests using Python and Spark, covering critical aspects such as data validation, transformation, and result accuracy
Identify, document, and track software defects using issue tracking systems, ensuring timely resolution in collaboration with development teams
Integrate automated tests into continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to facilitate seamless software delivery
Collaborate with the QA team to enhance testing methodologies, tools, and best practices
Participate in code reviews to ensure the testability and maintainability of the codebase
Investigate and reproduce reported issues, providing detailed reports to aid in debugging and resolution
Mentor other team members and facilitate the adoption of test automation across the QA team
Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in QA and test automation
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer, with a focus on end-to-end test automation
Strong programming skills in Python, with the ability to design, implement, and maintain robust automation scripts
Proficiency in Apache Spark for data processing and analytics testing
Knowledge of SQL, Spark SQL, and database testing is advantageous
Experience with testing frameworks and tools such as PyTest, Selenium, or similar
Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices
Familiarity with version control systems (eg, Git) and CI/CD processes
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for quality assurance
