Senior QA Automation Engineer

About the Role:

QA Automation Engineer

This role requires excellent English communication skills (both verbal and written) to work effectively with international stakeholders in the US time zone.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and plans.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Identify, record, and track bugs, issues, and test results in a defect tracking system.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
• Leverage AWS services for testing, deployment, and performance optimization.
• Provide test reports and metrics to stakeholders.
• Ensure quality across multiple releases and environments.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5–8 years of experience in QA Automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
• Solid programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudFormation, etc.) and their use in testing.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred:

• Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Performance testing experience (JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner).
• Cloud-native application testing experience.
