Senior QA Automation Engineer

As a Senior Software Developer in Test at our Indore office, you will be an integral part of the product engineering team responsible for maintaining and supporting the Vena Excel Desktop Add-in, a key product used by our growing customer base. The product is developed in C#/.NET. Your main responsibilities will include ensuring the quality of the product and code base by developing, executing, and maintaining automation testing, enhancing test tooling and processes following industry best practices, and providing exceptional product support by investigating defects and assisting customer support teams in issue resolution. Your key tasks will involve analyzing existing projects to determine test requirements, creating and managing automated UI and API tests, contributing to the development of suitable testing methodologies and frameworks, executing test strategies for functional, integration, and regression testing, collaborating with development and product management teams to plan and review testing strategies, documenting testing architecture and best practices, monitoring test metrics and pipelines for reliability and scalability, collaborating on building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, evaluating and adopting new technologies, and mentoring colleagues to enhance the department's knowledge of QA and testing best practices. To be a good fit for this role, you should have at least 6 years of experience in a test development role in an Agile environment, a degree in Computer Science or equivalent, a solid understanding of testing methodologies and frameworks, familiarity with development/bug tracking tools, proficiency in .NET/C# or Java, experience with monitoring and analytics tools, expertise in CI/CD tools, proficiency in MS Excel and relational databases, a meticulous and analytical approach, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred qualifications include experience with VBA, JavaScript/TypeScript, and relational databases, as well as prior mentoring/coaching experience.,
