Senior QA Automation Engineer

As a detail-oriented QA Engineer at KMC, you will play a crucial role in ensuring software quality through a combination of manual and automation testing. Your responsibilities will include designing test cases, executing tests, reporting defects, and contributing to test automation efforts. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze requirements, user stories, and design documents to create clear, detailed test cases. - Perform functional, UI, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing manually. - Document test results with evidence and maintain test documentation. - Identify, report, and track defects using JIRA or similar tools. - Validate bug fixes and conduct retesting/regression testing. - Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. - Work closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders. - Contribute to UI or API automation scripts (Selenium, Postman, REST Assured, Cypress). - Assist in maintaining and improving existing automation frameworks. - Help integrate test scripts into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.). - Collaborate with automation engineers to expand test coverage. - Conduct performance, load, and stress testing to identify bottlenecks. - Analyze system behavior under load and suggest optimizations. Qualifications Required: - Strong experience in test case design and execution for manual testing. - Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium, Postman, REST Assured, or Cypress. - Knowledge of scripting languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript for automation. - Experience with CI/CD tools like Git, Jenkins, or similar platforms. - Ability to test and debug RESTful APIs. - Experience working in Agile methodologies such as Scrum/Kanban environments.
