Senior QA Automation Engineer

Role Overview: You will be joining Deutsche Bank's Corporate Bank division in Pune, India, a renowned global leader in cash management, trade finance, and securities services. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and robust API automation frameworks and test suites. - Collaborate with Business Functional Analysts, Product Managers, and Developers to understand complex requirements and translate them into comprehensive test plans and automation scripts. - Design and implement strategies for functional, integration, regression, and performance testing of APIs. - Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects, and provide clear reports on test progress and product quality. - Drive continuous improvement in testing practices, tools, and processes within the agile team. - Actively participate in all scrum team ceremonies, advocating for quality and shift-left testing approaches. - Mentor and guide junior QA engineers in automation best practices and domain understanding. Qualification Required: - 7+ years of hands-on experience in developing automation test scripts, preferably in the Corporate Banking sector. - Strong proficiency in programming and scripting using Java, Karate, Gatling, Python. - Good knowledge of REST APIs, Postman/Bruno, Swagger, SQL. - Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Jira). - Exceptional analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex business and technical requirements into detailed test cases and automation scripts. - Outstanding communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and concisely. - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
