Senior Python Engineer

As a Senior Python Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of complex software solutions using Python. You will lead a team of developers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality code. You'll also play a key role in integrating AWS services such as EC2, LightSails, Lambda, S3, and API Gateway into the application architecture to ensure reliability and performance. Additionally, you’ll leverage AI-based tools like Claude, WinSurf, and other emerging technologies to streamline development processes and increase productivity.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Python developers to oversee the development and implementation of software solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate project requirements into technical specifications.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure the delivery of high-quality code. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Interact with databases, write SQL queries, and use ORM libraries like SQLAlchemy or Django ORM.
• Debug and optimize performance to ensure scalability and reliability.
• Manage version control and continuous integration processes.
• Identify and address technical challenges and risks.
• Participate in architectural and design discussions.
• Use collaboration tools like Jira, Trello, or Asana for task management and progress tracking.
• Collaborate with DevOps to implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Integrate AI-based coding tools like Claude (by Anthropic), WinSurf (for AI-assisted
  

software development), and other emerging technologies to optimize coding workflowsand enhance team productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in Python development.
• Demonstrated experience in a leadership or managerial role.
• Proficiency in web frameworks such as Django, FastAPI, Flask.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Experience with AI-assisted coding tools like Claude, WinSurf, or similar.
