Senior Python Developer

Job description:

Job Requirements

➢ Write clean and maintainable Python code to develop and enhance our software applications.

➢ Collaborate with the architecture team to design and implement scalable and high-performance software solutions.

➢ Write unit tests and participate in integration testing to ensure the reliability and robustness of the software.

➢ Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers and other developers, to deliver features and enhancements on time.

➢ Investigate and debug issues reported by users and provide timely solutions.

➢ Collaborate effectively using version control systems like Git, ensuring proper branching, merging, and commit practices to facilitate seamless collaboration among team members and maintain a well-organised codebase.

➢ Effectively communicate with clients to understand requirements, provide updates, and ensure expectations are met.

➢ Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical decision-making and code architecture.

➢ Take full ownership of assigned modules and ensure timely delivery with minimal supervision.

Skills & Experience

➢ 4+ years of professional experience as a Python Developer.

➢ Strong proficiency in Python and its frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI).

➢ Knowledge of ORM (Object Relational Mapping)

➢ Experience with database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).

➢ Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React) is a plus.

➢ Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.

➢ Experience with tools such as CI/CD pipelines, Agile/Scrum methodologies, code linters, and API documentation tools (e.g., Swagger, Postman)

➢ Strong understanding of Data structures and algorithms

➢ Strong communication and teamwork skills.

➢ Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects and handle clients.

➢ A commitment to writing high-quality code and following best practices.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
