Senior Python Developer

Role Overview: As a Senior Python Developer, your main responsibility will be to design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality Python applications and services. Additionally, you will be tasked with building and maintaining robust and scalable APIs using frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask. Database management duties will include designing database schemas, writing complex SQL queries, and optimizing database performance specifically for PostgreSQL. Your role will also involve contributing to the architectural design of new features and systems to ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability. Implementing and managing applications within containerized environments using Docker and orchestrating deployments with Kubernetes will be a key part of your responsibilities. Troubleshooting and debugging complex technical issues in both production and development environments will also fall under your purview. Ensuring code quality through rigorous testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices will be crucial. Ultimately, you will take ownership of projects, shepherding them independently from conception to successful deployment and maintenance. Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product managers, other engineers, and QA, will be pivotal to project success.
