We are seeking a Senior Python Developer with a strong background in Cybersecurity to join our engineering team in Bangalore. The role involves building scalable Python-based security applications, integrating with Cybersecurity tools, and contributing to secure architecture and automation. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of Python experience, solid understanding of security best practices, and hands-on exposure to SIEMs, IAM tools, and cloud platforms.
l Design, develop, and maintain Scalable Python applications focused on security automation, threat detection, or governance.
l Build integrations with SIEMs, IAM tools, and other security solutions.
l Write reusable, testable, and efficient code with a focus on performance and security best practices.
l Participate in threat modeling, secure coding reviews, and vulnerability assessments of internal tool
l Contribute to backend architecture decisions and guide junior developers on best practices.
l Work closely with DevOps to enable secure CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
l Strong understanding of Cybersecurity principles, including OWASP Top 10, encryption, and secure coding practices
l Experience with Python frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, or Django
l Hands-on experience with security tools/APIs like SIEMs (e.g., Splunk, ELK), IAM platforms, or EDR tools
l Solid experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs, webhooks, and asynchronous processing
l Should have exposure to Python libraries for Network analysis, Security analysis, Malware analysis, Machine learning, Data handling
l Should have exposure to SQL, RDBMS and DB connectivity modules in Python
l Familiarity with Linux environments and system-level scripting
l Proficient in using Git, Docker, and working with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
l Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Information Technology (B.E./B.Tech)
l Masters degree is a plus
l Minimum 5+ years of experience in Python development
l Certifications such as CEH, CISSP, OSCP, or relevant security credentials is a plus
l Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and system design.
l Exposure to security automation frameworks like SOAR, MITRE ATT&CK, or OpenVAS.
