Staff Backend Engineer

What You’ll Do:

Architect and scale large, distributed backend systems using Python/Django
Define and enforce architecture patterns and engineering best practices
Drive database performance tuning, caching strategies, and infrastructure optimization
Ensure scalability, resilience, and high availability of applications
Collaborate with leadership on technical strategy and roadmap
Mentor and guide senior engineers to raise the technical bar of the team

What We’re Looking For:

Proven track record in building and scaling high-traffic platforms
Deep expertise in architecture design, infra handling, and performance tuning
Hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, cloud platforms, and distributed systems
Strong leadership skills with ability to balance technical depth and business priorities
