Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Process Engineer to join our Process & Projects team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in process design, calculations, and project execution for water and wastewater treatment systems. The role involves preparing engineering deliverables, coordinating with multiple departments, reviewing vendor documents, and ensuring project compliance with client and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform process design and calculations for water and wastewater treatment systems.

· Prepare and review PFDs (Process Flow Diagrams) and P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams) for complete treatment systems.

· Prepare mass balance and equipment lists for treatment plants.

· Evaluate and design treatment technologies including aeration, clarification, filtration, precipitation softening, ion exchange, membrane systems, flotation, and biological treatment.

· Understand water quality parameters for boiler feedwater, cooling water, and chemical treatment programs.

· Execute process design for raw water treatment, potable water treatment, demineralized water, desalination plants, condensate polishing, softening plants, and wastewater treatment.

· Apply Piping Material Specifications (PMS) and Valve Material Specifications (VMS) effectively in designs.

· Collaborate with mechanical teams for piping layouts, mechanical designs, and pipe supports.

· Prepare process datasheets for equipment and provide required inputs to the instrumentation team.

· Review vendor and sub-vendor process-related documents and ensure compliance.

· Coordinate closely with internal teams and other engineering disciplines for project execution.

· Perform risk analysis for critical project stages.

· Manage quality control, approvals, and client coordination for process engineering deliverables.

· Conduct site visits to client facilities for assessments, inspections, and project support.

Technical & Software Skills:

· Software Tools: AutoCAD, MS Office Suite, simulation tools (e.g., Aspen, HYSYS, or equivalent).

· Knowledge Areas: Process simulation, hydraulic calculations, pump sizing, and membrane design tools.

· Industry Standards: Familiarity with ISO, ASME, API, and other relevant engineering codes.
