Job Description

Role & responsibilities

6+ years of hands-on experience administering PostgreSQL databases in high-volume, mission-critical environments (MSSQL and Oracle experience is a plus).
Advanced proficiency with AWS services (RDS, EC2, S3) for cloud-based database management.
Experience with database cloud migration and cross-platform migrations.
Strong scripting skills (Python, Shell) for automation and tooling.
Demonstrated ability in high availability and disaster recovery planning and execution.
Deep understanding of database security, upgrades, and version control.
Exceptional troubleshooting skills and expertise in performance optimization.
Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and team collaboration skills.
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments and independently learn new technologies.
Willingness to participate in rotational on-call support and weekend maintenance.
