JD For Sr. PHP Developer / Tech Lead

Sr. PHP developers / Tech Leads are the backbone of the Development team and dedicated towards managing multiple web applications, API Creation, testing and team training development sessions. They are responsible for creating dynamic and interactive websites as per the shared requirements by the clients or stack holders of the company. They work on server-side scripting, database management, and front-end integration to deliver seamless user experiences. As a Technical Lead PHP, you will lead a team of developers in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications. You will be responsible for ensuring the technical feasibility of projects, guiding the team through complex coding challenges, and making high-level design decisions. Your focus will be on delivering exceptional code quality, optimized performance, and best practices in PHP development across all the available CMS that are based on the core of PHP.

Objective of this Role: -

Ø Perform PHP backend services accurately as per the high benchmark set by the web development team

Ø Connect backend components to the web services by building web applications in PHP that are responsive and scalable

Ø Support the full-stack creative team through the complete lifecycle of the project

Ø Create, build, and modify the software as a PHP expert with the right PHP scripts

Ø Collaborate with web designers and front-end developers for creating and deploying error-free solutions to the clients

Responsibilities of the Resource: -

Ø Lead the PHP development team in delivering high-quality web applications, API Solution, Server Set-up, Problem Solving Techniques capabilities

Ø Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code for the assigned projects to the team.

Ø Oversee the complete development lifecycle of projects, from planning to deployment.

Ø Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.

Ø Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and devise technical solutions.

Ø Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers.

Ø Ensure the performance, security, and scalability of all web applications.

Ø Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in PHP development and its associated frameworks.

Ø Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers

Ø Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules for integration and deployment

Ø Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges

Ø Integration of data storage solutions {{may include databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.}}

Ø Design, implement and maintain PHP application phases

Ø Develop, test, implement, and maintain application software to maintain the consistency of the project deliverables

Ø Develop technical designs for application development and application code for PHP programs as per the feasibility and solution to be served to the clients.

Ø Participate in the development team's architectural and software development activities
Analyse, programme, test, and debug software

Ø Identify production and non-production issues for the applications

Ø Convert the needs of software into specs by interacting with the client on the live technical calls.

Ø Endorse software improvements to enhance application processes by suggesting the same to the delivery team

Required Skills & Qualifications for the Job Profile: -

Ø Strong communication and team management skills for making the entire process smooth.
Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks {{such as Laravel, Yii, etc depending on the market growing tech stacks.}}

Ø Understanding the fully synchronous behavior of PHP

Ø Understanding of MVC design patterns

Ø Understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3

Ø Knowledge of object oriented PHP programming

Ø Understanding accessibility and security compliance {{Depending on the specific project}}

Ø Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions

Ø Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application

Ø User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments

Ø Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system

Ø Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds

Ø Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes

Ø Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages

Ø Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

Ø Experience dealing with JavaScript, Ajax, jQuery, XML, XHTML, and other frontend technologies

Ø Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Ø Previous experience in a technical leadership or supervisory role.

Ø Strong understanding of web development technologies and frameworks.

Ø Proven track record of managing and delivering successful projects.

Ø Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
