As a contributing member of our agile platform development/API development team, you will have both the accountability and freedom to build GNB's next multimillion-pound product. You will play an essential role in advancing our innovative tools and practices to enhance deployment, testing, and scalability. Your role will also include planning, coding, resolving operational issues, and enhancing code reliability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the full SDLC including coding, unit testing, debugging, and deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional technology teams to resolve complex issues.
• Create detailed analysis and design documentation as required.
• Participate in peer code reviews and QA/testing initiatives.

Requirements

• 4 to 6 years of experience in Core PHP development.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Strong work ethics and professional attitude.
• Proficient in:
• PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, regular expressions
• Web form development and handling user-generated data
• Web service architectures: HTTP, REST, JSON, XML
• API programming and database architecture
• Experience with source control (preferably Git), CI/CD pipelines, and testing automation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (preferred).
