Senior .NET Developer with Azure DevOps Experience

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior .NET Developer with a strong background in Azure DevOps to join our dynamic team. In this client-facing role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust and scalable solutions using the Microsoft technology stack, with a focus on .NET/.NET Core, Azure Cloud Services, and DevOps practices. You will work closely with our US-based client, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will possess excellent coding skills, a deep understanding of Azure cloud technologies, and the ability to lead and mentor other team members. This role requires a hands-on approach to development and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions that meet our client's needs.

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using .NET/.NET Core and related technologies.
• Implement and manage Azure Cloud Services, including Azure Functions, Durable Functions, Service Bus, Event Grid, and Storage Queues.
• Utilize DevOps practices to automate and streamline the software development lifecycle, including continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
• Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, functions, packages, cursors, tables, and object types in MS SQL Server.
• Conduct thorough unit testing using XUnit or MSTest to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, business analysts, and other developers, to define and implement solutions.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Communicate effectively with the US-based client, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in .NET development and Azure cloud computing.
• Contribute to the development of software design patterns, system architecture, and scalable solution designs.

• 8+ years of hands-on development experience in the IT industry.
• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core 6/8+, and Entity Framework / EF Core.
• Experience with JavaScript, jQuery, and REST APIs.
• Expertise in MS SQL Server, including complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, functions, packages, cursors, tables, and object types.
• Proven experience in unit testing with XUnit or MSTest.
• Solid understanding of software design patterns, system architecture, and scalable solution design.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Services, including Azure Functions, Durable Functions, Service Bus, Event Grid, Storage Queues, Blob Storage, Azure Key Vault, SQL Azure, Application Insights, and Azure Monitoring.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools, such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and team members.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Must be able to work 8 hours per day with a 4-hour overlap during EST time zone (12 PM - 9 PM IST).
• Immediate joiners preferred (maximum 15 days notice period).
