Senior Manual QA Engineer

As a Senior Manual QA Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards for our software products. Your responsibilities will include: - Collaborating with Scrum teams to develop, review, and execute detailed test plans and test cases based on product requirements and design specifications. - Conducting thorough manual testing of software applications, including functional, regression, integration, and system testing. - Participating in various Scrum ceremonies and working closely with development teams to identify, document, and track defects and issues for resolution. - Refining User Story requirements, providing accurate estimates on scope, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality software. - Participating in test case design, test execution, and defect management processes, as well as mentoring and supporting junior QA engineers. To excel in this role, you should have: - A strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices in an Agile/Scrum environment. - Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, analytical thinking abilities, and effective communication and collaboration skills. - Proficiency with Jira, Test management tools like Xray, SQL, and experience with various types of testing. - Familiarity with Java-based Selenium automated testing frameworks and knowledge of Java are preferred. This is a full-time position based in Chennai, with working days from Monday to Friday at our office in SKCL Prime. All employees must be eligible to work in India.
