Job Summary

Java Backend Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality backend services using

  Java

  ,

  Spring Boot

  , and

  Microservices

  architecture.
• Build RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems.
• Write efficient, reusable, and scalable code while adhering to best coding practices.
• Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system reliability.
• Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) to design schemas, write complex queries, and improve data performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend, QA, DevOps, and product teams.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Implement security and data protection best practices.
• Support the deployment and monitoring of backend services in production environments.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in Java (8 or above).

• Hands-on experience with

  Spring Framework

  ,

  Spring Boot

  , and distributed

  Microservices

  architecture.
• Expertise in

  SQL

  and exposure to relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.).
• Experience building RESTful APIs and integrating services.
• Good understanding of software design principles, design patterns, and clean code practices.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines) is an added advantage.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Exposure to NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.
• Knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Understanding of version control systems (Git).
