Senior Java Backend Developer - Payments Domain

As a Senior Java Backend Developer, you will have the following responsibilities: - Analyzing, designing, programming, debugging, and modifying software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, or Internet-related computer programs. The code must be used in the core version of applications available for sale commercially. - Interacting with product managers and/or users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications. - Participating in software design meetings and analyzing user needs to determine technical requirements. - Writing technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements. - Writing code, completing programming, and performing testing and debugging of applications using current programming languages and technologies. - Completing documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. - Training and communicating with internal Client Training, Client Relationship, and Sales teams on systems application. - May be responsible for developing or executing project plans, budgets, and schedules and for documenting work and results. - May deliver informational and decision-seeking presentations to technical and business groups to internal and/or external audiences. - Other related duties assigned as needed. You should bring the following qualifications to the role: - Minimum 7+ years of experience in developing Java applications or services. - Knowledge and hands-on experience in Java (preferably Java 8 and above), Spring, Spring MVC, (Spring batch will be a plus), Springboot, Restful Web services, any SQL DB like PostgresDB, MySQL, NoSQL DB like Cassandra, Dynamo DB, message streaming framework like Apache Kafka, ActiveMQ. - Basic understanding of AWS and its services like S3, RDS. - Knowledge and experience in designing, developing, and maintaining Microservices using the latest technologies. - Knowledge and experience in developing, maintaining, and supporting services live in production. - Should have worked on Quality assurance tools like SonarQube, BlackDuck, Checkmarx, or any similar tool. - Should have worked and has experience in using CICD environment used for deployments. - Little or basic understanding of the DevOps or Network layer of a Microservice.,
