AI Business Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (AI/ML engineers, product managers, designers) to gather and define

  technical requirements

  for AI-driven features and applications.
• Translate complex AI concepts (e.g., model inputs/outputs, performance metrics) into business-friendly language for stakeholders.
• Leverage your knowledge of agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban, to manage sprints, refinement sessions, and delivery planning.
• Own the product backlog, prioritize features based on business value and AI implementation complexity, and create user stories with clear

  technical acceptance criteria

  .
• Facilitate alignment between AI teams and business users to ensure models and systems meet strategic goals and user needs.
• Draft user stories and technical documentation that reflect AI development cycles, including data sourcing, model training, evaluation, and deployment.
• Manage risk by identifying blockers related to AI feasibility, data availability, or model performance, and propose viable solutions with the technical team.
• Drive product discovery for AI-based features, providing input on model evaluation metrics (e.g., accuracy, precision, recall), expected outcomes, and ethical considerations.
• Contribute to product strategy and roadmap development with insights related to AI opportunities and constraints.
• Maintain a strong asynchronous communication style in a remote, multicultural environment.
• Uphold a remote work ethic by maintaining open lines of communication, attending virtual meetings, and engaging in team discussions across time zones.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a

  Business Analyst or Product Analyst

  , with at least 2 years

  working on AI/ML or data-intensive projects

  .
• Solid understanding of the

  AI/ML lifecycle

  : data preprocessing, model training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Familiarity with

  AI/ML technologies

  and tools such as: Python, Jupyter, TensorFlow, PyTorch (not hands-on coding, but ability to understand technical context). ML Ops pipelines, model performance metrics, and data versioning concepts.
• Experience working with

  product management platforms

  such as Jira, Confluence, ClickUp, or similar.
• Proven ability to

  write user stories

  with technical acceptance criteria (preferably in Gherkin syntax).
• Experience

  preparing and refining prompts

  to deliver tailored client solutions.
• Hands-on experience

  training and adapting AI systems to minimize and mitigate bias

  .
• Knowledge of bias in AI, its implications, and practical approaches to ensure fairness and accuracy in outcomes.
• Ability to design and manage

  user stories specifically related to prompt engineering and AI-driven solutions.

• Excellent

  stakeholder management

  and client-facing communication skills, especially with US-based teams.
• Proficiency in

  agile methodologies

  (Scrum), and the ability to champion these practices within the team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in
