Senior Hana DBA

As a Senior HANA DBA Consultant at Yash Technologies, you will be responsible for the following key responsibilities: - Provide operational support for SAP HANA databases. - Perform SAP HANA Database installations, uninstallations, patches, and upgrades. - Install, patch, upgrade, and configure SAP HANA Cockpit. - Handle backup administration tasks. - Perform Database Restores and System Copies. - Analyze HANA workload and manage the same effectively. - Configure alerts in HANA for resource management. - Manage HANA Security & User Administration. - Configure and operate High Availability Disaster Recovery/Failover. - Activate and analyze expensive SQL trace. - Perform SQL Tuning and manage performance. - Monitor Delta Merge Operations. - Add or remove additional hosts as needed. - Implement table partitioning and redistribution. - Utilize various HANA database tools like HANA studio and HANA Cockpit. Qualifications required for this role include: - 6-10 years of experience in SAP HANA DBA. - Ability to analyze technical needs and develop project scope of work documents. - Hands-on experience in SAP HANA database installations, patches, and upgrades. - Strong expertise in HANA workload analysis and management. - Proficiency in HANA Security, High Availability Disaster Recovery/Failover, and SQL Tuning. - Familiarity with tools like HANA studio and HANA Cockpit.
