Senior GCP Cloud Administrator

As an experienced GCP Administrator, your role will involve managing and configuring roles/permissions in GCP IAM, optimizing Big Query service, collaborating with various teams for efficient data management in GCP, creating automations and monitoring mechanisms, designing GCP-specific cloud architecture, provisioning and de-provisioning GCP accounts, and keeping technical documentation up to date. You will also be required to stay up to date on GCP announcements and services. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and configure roles/permissions in GCP IAM following the principle of least privileged access - Optimize Big Query service by managing slot assignments and SQL Queries, adopting FinOps practices for cost control, troubleshooting critical data queries, etc. - Collaborate with Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, Cloud Platform Engineering, SRE teams for efficient data management in GCP - Create automations and monitoring mechanisms for GCP Data-related services - Work with development teams to design GCP-specific cloud architecture - Provision and de-provision GCP accounts and resources for internal projects - Manage multiple GCP subscriptions - Keep technical documentation up to date - Stay up to date on GCP announcements and services Qualifications Required: - 8+ years of work experience in provisioning, operating, and maintaining systems in GCP - Valid certification in either GCP Associate Cloud Engineer or GCP Professional Cloud Architect - Hands-on experience in GCP services like IAM, BigQuery, GKE, etc. - Capable of providing support and guidance on GCP operations based on enterprise needs - Working knowledge of docker containers and Kubernetes - Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively - Ability to work on multiple projects and meet project deadlines consistently - Willingness to work on shift-basis as per project requirements Good to Have: - Experience in Terraform Automation for GCP Infrastructure provisioning - Experience in Cloud Composer, Dataproc, Dataflow Storage, and Monitoring services - Experience in building and supporting data pipelines - Multi-Cloud experience with AWS - Knowledge of New-Relic monitoring,
