Senior Game Designer

As a Senior Game Designer, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing our games, focusing on driving gameplay and ensuring the best overall gaming experience for our players while also devising effective monetization strategies. You will report directly to the VP of Bangalore Studio and collaborate with a team of producers, product analysts, game programmers, and artists to create the next hit game. Your responsibilities will include leading and executing the design for our hybrid casual games, designing top-grossing games, contributing to brainstorming sessions for new game ideas, collaborating with the team to ensure high-quality game implementation and polish, testing and refining the gameplay, and working closely with monetization specialists to enhance player retention and monetization strategies without compromising the gameplay experience. To excel in this role, you should possess at least 5 years of experience in game development, with a strong command of Unity, particularly on mobile platforms. Excellent communication skills, a passion for mobile games, the ability to create and update design documents effectively, attention to detail, self-motivation, both individual and team collaboration capabilities, 3D and 2D gameplay experience, rapid prototyping skills, documented success in shipping free-to-play games, adeptness in iteration based on data-driven results, and a proactive approach to staying updated on emerging technologies in the gaming industry are essential. Additionally, you will be expected to analyze user feedback data to enhance gaming experience and monetization, participate in playtesting, stay informed about trends in casual and mid-core games, and contribute insights to the team.
