Senior Frontend Developer

Required Skills

• Minimum 4 years of relevant professional web development experience
• Experience working with English speaking clients/employers, e.g., US/UK/Australia/ Singapore, in the past 3 years
• Hands-on coding on their current professional engagement
• 1 year of tenure minimum on their current professional engagement
• Hands-on experience building complex or enterprise level applications and components using TypeScript and frameworks such as Angular, React or Vue.js.
• Strong understanding of RxJS or similar, especially in building complex reactive applications.
• Strong understanding of NgRx or similar like Redux, Recoil, etc, in dealing with state management.
• Experience in structuring complex frontend applications, including CSS pre-processors, reusable components, etc.
• Strong understanding of frontend performance and experience tweaking and optimising for performance, or addressing performance issues. Understands metrics like First Contentful Paint, Interaction to Next Paint, Total Blocking Time, etc.
• Proficiency in modern UI development, with the ability to deliver polished and user-friendly UIs, including CSS transitions, animations, and advanced UI behavior.
• Experience integrating with third-party APIs.
• Proficiency with Linux environments and command-line tools.
• Demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Experience collaborating within a multidisciplinary team under Agile methodologies.
• A strong desire to learn, grow, and push beyond your comfort zone.

Would Be Great to Have

• Experience with backend development, namely developing complex services and applications at scale using PHP, and specifically PHP frameworks such as Symfony or Laravel.
• Experience designing APIs for external consumption.
• Experience with TDD and writing comprehensive unit tests for the frontend.
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch for implementing search capabilities.
• Experience with GraphQL or API Platform.
• Familiarity with OpenAI/ChatGPT integrations, LangChain, or similar technologies.
