Senior Flask Developer

Role Overview: As a Senior Flask Developer at ChangingBox, you will be responsible for developing clean, well-tested code for our client-facing product. Your role will involve working with Flask and Python to build and consume RESTful APIs, designing relational database models, deploying applications on AWS cloud infrastructure, writing unit and integration tests, and leading and mentoring junior developers. You will also be involved in incident response, debugging, root-cause analysis, system design, and performance optimization. Key Responsibilities: - Have 3-4 years of hands-on development experience with Flask in a production environment - Demonstrate proficiency in Flask framework, Python ecosystem, PostgreSQL, ORM libraries, and AWS cloud infrastructure - Write unit and integration tests, follow best practices for QA, and ensure code quality and reliability - Lead and mentor junior developers as the team scales - Design systems with scalability in mind and optimize for performance, reliability, and cost - Collaboratively work with Git, analyze bottlenecks, and proactively optimize for performance Qualifications Required: - Possess 4+ years of professional experience building web applications in Python with Flask - Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field - Expert-level proficiency in Flask, SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL, REST API design, ORM, and modern Python - Hands-on experience with AWS stack, Docker, Linux server management, security fundamentals, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript basics - Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, scalable systems design, and cloud cost optimization Additional Company Details: ChangingBox is a startup offering a direct impact on business, technology, and product decisions.
