1. Responsible for the procurement of Fabrics.
2. Should have detailed knowledge of all the Fabrics.
3. Negotiating with Mill for rates and other terms and conditions of delivery and payment4. Effective planning for the procurement of raw material in coordination with Sales team.5. Fabric planning according to sales plan, scheduling, inventory and cost elements.6. Achieve cost reduction goals through scientific Mill management.7. Analysis of material usage to develop and executepurchaseorder and monitoring ofpurchaseorders and its follow up.
8. Develop, implement and manage cross-functional activities among all internal departments, work9. Establish and implement methods and best practices related to the systems and process that support inventory forecasting,purchasing, and material control.
10. Coordinating with the Suppliers with reference to production planning and delivery schedule.11. Negotiation of freight rates with the transporter / forwarder / courier for the material movement.
12. Maintaining stock on ERP of all materials.
13. Making sure to set process of quality check for all material
Candidate profile: Preferably 10-15 years experience in with an export house of repute.
