NineHertz India is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our dynamic team in the Information Technology and Services industry. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for leading engineering teams, defining technical roadmaps, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions. This includes overseeing the systems architecture currently in place, driving technical excellence, and collaborating with stakeholders to implement scalable, secure, and innovative solutions.

Job Brief

We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead our development teams and deliver top-tier technology solutions that strengthen our product offerings and meet business objectives.

Key focus areas:

Driving the engineering vision, strategy, and execution.

Leading planning for software development, testing, and integration.

Overseeing the design and implementation of systems to solve complex business challenges.

Partnering with leadership to align technology initiatives with business goals.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and inspire multiple engineering teams to achieve excellence.

Oversee the design, development, and delivery of technical solutions.

Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, architecture, and processes.

Research and adopt emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.

Communicate with stakeholders on project progress, risks, and opportunities.

Manage budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for engineering projects.

Assess and address the business impact of technical decisions.

Requirements and Skills

Proven work experience as a Senior Engineering Manager or in a senior technical leadership role.

Minimum 12 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in engineering management.

Strong background in software architecture, development, and system design.

Exposure to project management and agile delivery methodologies.

In-depth understanding of coding languages and development frameworks.

Expertise in operating systems, databases, IT infrastructure, and cloud platforms.

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master s preferred).
