Job Summary:
We are seeking talented and motivated Junior Embedded Firmware Engineers to join our R&D team at Adiance Technologies. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with embedded systems development, Linux-based platforms, and networking protocols. This role offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI and camera-based surveillance solutions, with scope for learning and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain embedded firmware for Linux-based platforms.
Work on U-Boot bootloader development, Linux kernel integration, and RootFS customization (Buildroot/Yocto).
Implement and debug communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C.
Develop and integrate applications using network protocols (MQTT/MQTTS, HTTPS/HTTP, TCP/IP socket programming).
Contribute to FOTA (Firmware Over-the-Air) implementations.
Work with RTOS-based systems and multithreading concepts.
Perform debugging, integration testing, and optimization of embedded applications.
Collaborate with hardware, QA, and software teams for seamless product integration.
Maintain code versioning with Git and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related field.
1–3 years of hands-on experience in embedded firmware development.
Proficiency in Embedded C programming, debugging, and system integration.
Practical exposure to Linux kernel, bootloader, and RootFS customization.
Understanding of serial communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C).
Familiarity with one or more network protocols (MQTT, HTTP/S, TCP/IP).
Experience with FOTA implementation and RTOS concepts.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Knowledge of camera-based embedded applications (preferred).
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD workflows, and Jira/task tracking (desirable).
