Embien Technologies is looking for a Sr. Embedded Design Engineer with extensive experience in software design, development, and troubleshooting within embedded systems environments. The candidate should possess a proven track record of crafting software designs, preparing comprehensive design documents, and demonstrating expertise in C/C++ programming languages, with hands-on experience in developing RTOS/ bare metal based embedded firmware.

Role & Responsibilities

Design and develop software for innovation concepts on embedded platforms on automotive and industrial designs.
Create and articulate software designs and prepare detailed design documents.
Maintain code quality through best practices and unit testing.
Perform in-depth debugging and troubleshooting of technical issues, including memory-related issues, threading, etc.
Interface directly with customers to understand requirements, provide technical support, and address inquiries or concerns.
Demonstrate technical expertise through presentations and walk-through sessions in customer workshops.
Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies to meet evolving customer needs.

Requirements (Must have):

Experience in embedded systems development, with 5-8 years in relevant industry.
B.E / B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication, Electronics and Telecommunication, M.E. / MTech. Electronics & Communication, with a minimum of 65%.
Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming languages.
Hands-on experience with embedded firmware, middleware and applications.
Proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting technical issues.
Experience in customer interfacing roles is mandatory.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Requirements (Good to have):

Experience in automotive connectivity, automotive cluster and industrial automation technologies.
Executed QT/C++, particularly in HMI GUI development on devices.
Experience in one or more industrial protocols such as Modbus, Profibus etc.
Hands-on experience with embedded firmware, middleware and applications.
Familiarity with IoT protocols like MQTT, AMQP etc.
Knowledge of wireless communication technologies including Wi-Fi, BLE, Zigbee.
