Senior Electrical Design Engineer

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will collaborate with engineering teams of Architects and ME/EE-Engineers to devise technical solutions meeting clients" business needs. Your responsibilities will include designing power distribution and lighting systems for various industrial and commercial facilities. With a minimum of 6 to 8 years of Electrical panel design experience, you are expected to have expertise in preparing single line diagrams, panel IGA & OGA drawings, and schematics based on technical specifications and customer requirements. Your role will involve performing calculations and selections for Motors, Drives, AC, load calculations, and cable selections as per application and design standards. You will engage in designing, implementing, and enhancing electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, and systems for commercial and industrial purposes. Furthermore, you will be responsible for preparing technical drawings, electrical system specifications, and customer requirements. Knowledge of standards such as UL508A, IEC, NEMA, as well as proficiency in tools like AutoCAD Electrical and Eplan P8 is essential. Your ability to produce electrical designs within a multi-discipline project environment and communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and vendors is crucial. Having a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, you will handle tasks like power utility coordination, power distribution calculations, and the selection of various electrical components. Designing industrial control panels, resolving change requests and RFIs, and developing electrical drawings using AutoCAD are also part of your responsibilities. Overall, your role as an Electrical Design Engineer requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and effective communication skills to deliver high-quality solutions for clients in diverse industries.,
