Senior Dot net developer

We are hiring an experienced, on-site Senior .NET Developer in India to design, implement and maintain backend systems and APIs that power operational applications and integrations across the flight operations lifecycle.

Role & Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using C# and ASP.NET Core to meet high availability and low-latency SLAs.
• Build and evolve microservices, implement robust data access layers using Entity Framework and optimize SQL Server performance and queries.
• Own end-to-end feature delivery: requirements analysis, design, implementation, unit testing, documentation and production support on-site.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/Jenkins), containerize services with Docker, and support automated deployments and rollbacks.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, QA, DevOps and UX teams in Agile/Scrum ceremonies to drive quality and timely releases.
• Perform code reviews, enforce engineering best practices, profile applications for performance, and mentor mid-level engineers.
  

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

• 4+ years professional experience in C# and .NET development (ASP.NET Core preferred).
• Strong experience with Web API design, RESTful services, and integration patterns (OAuth/JWT, APIs).
• Solid SQL Server experience (T?SQL), ORM experience with Entity Framework and data modelling skills.
• Hands-on with microservices, Docker containerisation and basic orchestration concepts.
• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Git-based workflows), unit testing (xUnit/NUnit) and automated tests.
• On-site work eligibility in India and strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  

Preferred

• Experience with Azure services (App Services, SQL DB, Storage, AD) or other cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of performance tuning, caching strategies (Redis), and async/parallel processing.
• Exposure to event-driven architectures, message brokers (RabbitMQ/Kafka) and monitoring/observability tooling.
